At the forefront of structured cabling systems since 1990, Uni-Tel Group’s management team combines common sense experience with innovative insight into the ever-changing business technology industry.

Chris Morris

Managing Principal

Chris Morris provides leadership and continued development of innovative, robust, technology environments within Uni-Tel Group. His primary responsibilities encompass a wide variety of strategic technology governance and policy across all divisions. Prior to joining Uni-Tel Group, Chris spent 15 years in informational technology roles for Bank of America.

Dan Leach

Director of Operations

Dan overseas all day-to-day operations including managing of project implementations and manpower for all divisions. Dan has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, holding multiple positions locally, regionally, and nationally. Dan has worked on projects for fortune 100 companies all over the US including Google, Facebook, Visa and Tesla before joining Uni-Tel Group.

Domenic Ferrante, RCDD

Director of Business Development

Domenic Ferrante is a results oriented senior executive with 30 years of extensive experience in business development and delivery of cost effective, high- performance technology mission critical infrastructure solutions. Domenic has the ability to develop strong and productive partnerships with business leaders and vendors. He has designed and implemented numerous complex information processing and telecommunications facilities. He is a BICSI member and holds the professional accreditation of Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD).

Joseph Dross

Director, Electrical Division

Joe oversees the total electrical division of Uni-Tel Group – UTG Electric. Joe has 45-plus years’ experience in the electrical industry. His expertise spans from estimating to Design/Engineering, Plan/Spec, Design Build inclusive to residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Before teaming with Uni-Tel Group, Joe spent 15 years with AECOM working on National and International projects for the US State Department and the Department of Defense at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. Joe is a USAF Veteran and proudly served during the Vietnam Era.

KenNY WHELAN

Director, ISS Division

Kenneth “Kenny” Whelan oversees Uni-Tel Group’s Integrated Security Solutions division. With more than 20 years of experience in the security and life safety industries, he provides leadership in engineering, operations, and managed services. Kenny has extensive experience driving operational excellence, implementing innovative security solutions, and building strong client relationships across a wide range of industries. He also provides technical guidance and strategic oversight for the design, integration, and deployment of security systems, helping ensure successful project delivery and long-term customer satisfaction.
