Meet the Uni-Tel Group Management Team

At the forefront of structured cabling systems since 1990, Uni-Tel Group’s management team combines common sense experience with innovative insight into the ever-changing business technology industry.

Chris Morris

Managing Principal

Chris Morris provides leadership and continued development of innovative, robust, technology environments within Uni-Tel Group. His primary responsibilities encompass a wide variety of strategic technology governance and policy across all divisions. Prior to joining Uni-Tel Group, Chris spent 15 years in informational technology roles for Bank of America.

Dan Leach

Director of Operations

Dan overseas all day-to-day operations including managing of project implementations and manpower for all divisions. Dan has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, holding multiple positions locally, regionally, and nationally. Dan has worked on projects for fortune 100 companies all over the US including Google, Facebook, Visa and Tesla before joining Uni-Tel Group.

Peter Gannon

VP, Head of Sales

Peter has nearly 30 years’ experience across multiple vertical markets with technology solutions in both hardware and software. Peter’s leadership of sales and business development teams coupled with his strategic client partnership philosophy ensures strong client partnerships, client success, and business growth and scale. Peter led teams and growth domestically and internationally at Within3, PSL Group, and Hyphen Digital prior to joining Uni-Tel Group.

Joseph Dross

Director, Electrical Division

Joe oversees the total electrical division of Uni-Tel Group – UTG Electric. Joe has 45-plus years’ experience in the electrical industry. His expertise spans from estimating to Design/Engineering, Plan/Spec, Design Build inclusive to residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Before teaming with Uni-Tel Group, Joe spent 15 years with AECOM working on National and International projects for the US State Department and the Department of Defense at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. Joe is a USAF Veteran and proudly served during the Vietnam Era.

Domenic Ferrante, RCDD

Director of Business Development

Domenic Ferrante is a results oriented senior executive with 30 years of extensive experience in business development and delivery of cost effective, high- performance technology mission critical infrastructure solutions. Domenic has the ability to develop strong and productive partnerships with business leaders and vendors. He has designed and implemented numerous complex information processing and telecommunications facilities. He is a BICSI member and holds the professional accreditation of Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD).

Ken Simels

Director, ISS Division

Ken Simels oversees the Integration Security Solutions division. He has 25 years of experience in working in security supporting large retail chains, municipal and local government projects, collegiate and municipal educational facilities, healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical facilities, law enforcement, and corporate office environments. Ken also provides governance and technical support regarding integration of security equipment for projects.
